Cocktail Hour: The Haberdasher!

We are starting a new monthly tradition here at Sew Modern.
We are going to post a cocktail recipe that we’ve created on the last Wednesday of the month.
If you are in Los Angeles, come to the shop
the Saturday following that post from 4-6pm and try out
that month’s beverage!  Yay!

So without further ado…

The Haberdasher!

This drink was created for the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild retreat this past November.

 The ingredients:

Pimm’s No. 1Champagne
Grand Marnier
Fresh orange slices (or Cutie sections)

Step 1:  Place a slice of orange or cutie section in the bottom of a champagne flute.
We like to give it a little squeeze to let the juice out.

Step 2:  Fill a champagne glass 1/3 of the way (approx. 2 shots) with Pimm’s.

Step 3:  Fill the glass almost all the way with champagne.

  1. I have a feeling that I will be in the minority regarding my opinion. There are many of us in this country who have been devastated by alcoholism in our families. I know that people can drink without being alcoholics and I respect your right to make cocktails. However, I would rather not read about it on a quilting blog. I enjoy your blog but I will probably need to unsubscribe. Thank you.
